SUPPLIER MANAGED INVENTORY (VMI) AND CONSIGNED INVENTORY

Suppliers may be asked to participate in VMI, kanban, and consigned inventory programs for the mutual benefit of AWIE and the supplier to reduce the amount of time that is spent processing and managing orders and inventory. This allows for improved customer service to AWIE and allows the supplier to have visibility to AWIE's inventory levels to in turn minimize their own.
