[Extreme Martial Arts] Closed-Eye Golden Rooster Stands on One Leg 35-Minute VideoAuthor: Jeffi Chao Hui Wu Time: 2025-8-19 Tuesday, 5:53 AM ········································ [Extreme Martial Arts] Eyes Closed Golden Rooster Stands on One Leg 35-Minute Video August 18, 2025, is a day worth recording for me. I completed a 35-minute training session of standing on my left leg with my eyes closed, and I have left complete evidence with a full video. This is not just a segment of practice, but a milestone achievement after years of accumulating stance training, Tai Chi, and Qigong. The video starts at 6:36:56 and ends at 7:12:20, with a total duration of 35 minutes and 24 seconds. I closed my eyes and stood on one leg, with the other leg raised, never touching the ground. Although there were several significant body adjustments throughout, the supporting left foot did not shift. This proves that these thirty-five minutes were not achieved through shortcuts, but were a true demonstration of sustained balance. Breathing was the rhythm of the entire process. I breathed a total of 248 times, averaging about 8.6 seconds per breath. This indicates that I was in a state of deep relaxation, with stable and slow breathing. My heart rate peaked at about 110 beats per minute, remaining steady overall, without excessive fatigue or anxiety. My body only sweated slightly, blood circulation was smooth, and my muscles did not experience soreness. Unlike the eyes-open Golden Rooster stance, with my eyes closed, visual input was completely cut off, and my body could only rely on the vestibular system, proprioception, and intention to maintain stability. Any distraction could lead to swaying or even loss of balance. The fact that I could sustain this for thirty-five minutes is itself a test of concentration, endurance, and willpower. I also understand that because the video is a silhouette, some may question whether my eyes were truly closed. Even so, I remain calm. Because even if considered as the eyes-open Golden Rooster stance, if you try it, you will find the difficulty increases significantly after ten minutes. Thirty-five minutes is certainly not something that can be achieved by simply standing still. Moreover, I want to add that my personal record for the eyes-open Golden Rooster stance is over forty minutes on each leg, and this video is the first with a date, time, and complete record of the eyes-closed Golden Rooster stance. Its significance lies in scientifically and objectively witnessing the results of my practice. Reflecting on my past training experiences, I can hold a horse stance for thirty minutes, with my legs shaking but not sore; I can walk in a spirit step for three hours, maintaining a stable rhythm; and in the cold seaside, Qigong allows me to feel warm in temperatures between six to nine degrees. The thirty-five minutes of eyes-closed Golden Rooster stance is the integration and sublimation of these accumulated skills. Many people believe that the Golden Rooster stance is just a balancing action with limited practical value. But for me, it is the most direct method to test internal strength. To maintain balance while stationary is to stabilize power in motion. To be grounded with closed eyes is to remain calm in complex environments. It is not just a movement, but a reflection of a state of mind. This video is not a performance for me, but a footprint of my cultivation. It proves that my persistence in the past has not been in vain and reinforces my belief that the limits of martial arts lie not in the body, but in the mind. At the end, I did not feel tired; I only stopped because the time was up, which means I could continue even longer. The thirty-five minutes of eyes-closed Golden Rooster stance signifies not only a new personal record but also reveals the power of persistence and accumulation. It makes me understand that true martial arts are not breakthroughs achieved overnight, but rather the result of daily practice. Thirty-five minutes is not the end, but the starting point for a higher goal. Source: https://www.australianwinner.com/AuWinner/viewtopic.php?t=697253 |
