A GREEN
MORNING OF THIS AUTUMN

A drop of morning light
Shines from the gap of the dark green curtains
Wake up, ‘Sleeping Beauty’
Do not miss the call from the morning sun
A snowy gown
Crawls slowly up from a jade bed
Tantalizing her still young-look dark hair
Kicking her apple-green bed sheets
She wonders if a swan has yawned
Shook her dark feather on the neck
And stretched her white plumages
Then played with the green waves in the river
Leaning slightly against the beryl bed head
She looks like a tired duckling at the lakeside
That silverly green radio having been turned on
The ‘Swan Lake’ music spreads the lake
Then she pushes open those thick and heavy
curtains
As if elbowing aside jungles that block the light
Ah, Good morning, Sunshine
This mossy lake blinks now with your golden
scales
Maybe because of the charm of the ‘Swan Lake’
music
Maybe because the stage-curtains have opened up
A pigeon lands on the edge of the window
Another pigeon follows to set down there
There is yet another
These little audience on the window plate
Stretch their necks to watch inside
What in earth do they want to peruse
The pleasure of a lotus rising from water
The bright smile of a princess
The flowing green bed sheet
Or the messy seaweed at the side of the pillow
Oh, Good morning, Pigeons,
The audience inside is also watching the play
outside
Good morning, all the green Maple trees
There is a siskin singing aloud
In the early morning of this green autumn
In the leaves where the green colours do not fade
